Analisis Korelasi Gula Darah Puasa, HbA1c, dan Karakteristik Partisipan

Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) measurement is recommended as the gold standard in long-term blood sugar monitoring diabetes patients because fasting (FBG) pattern alone cannot provide accurate information regarding variability true picture type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. However, many have limited access to HbA1c testing for financial reasons. It necessary know relationship between and GDP, factors that influence it, especially research participant characteristics. This analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design involved 100 participants from T2DM hospital, outpatient clinics, communities Yogyakarta Province January-May 2020. The FPG was carried out using capillary samples by team. Characteristic data were obtained through direct interviews participants, then analyzed SPSS version 25 windows, chi-square, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Spearman's rho test. results showed significantly positively correlated moderate correlation criteria (r=0.74, P-value<0.0001). significant negative glucometer ownership variable (r=-0.22, P-value= 0.04), independent of other parameters. Meanwhile, negatively age (r=-0.26, P-value=0.01), education level P-value=0.04), comorbidity (r=-0, 24, P-value=0.02), routine drug consumption (r=-0.29, P-value=0.01) but gender, smoking status, daily menu, physical exercise. can be concluded both GDP used reference assessing glycemic status.
